We collect no Information about you when you visit our Site unless you choose to provide Information to us when you use our Site, order from us, or register with us or provide information to our personnel at trade shows or via emails. BioViva’s web servers or other computers and customer service personnel collect your contact information when you place orders. This includes name (personal or entity), address, phone number, facsimile number (Fax), email address, credit card number, or other identifier for billing or shipping in order for us to process and complete an order for our products or services. Also, sometimes we may ask you to voluntarily provide us or we may provide information to you about promotions, scientific interests, new products, technical updates or changes, contact preferences, and other information.

When you order the Service we ask for you to give your name, age and addresses (email and mailing), often called personally identifiable information (“PII”), as well as answers to questions designed to gather information to help us improve the Service and to develop additional services to offer to you. We do not collect and do not consider this information to be protected health information as defined under federal law. We then de-identify or obscure your name from the other information you provide and from records for the Service to minimise the risk of unintended disclosure of your identity and information about you to third parties. We will ship you a sample collection kit including instructions for use for sample types of urine or blood (vacutainer or lancet) (collectively, “Sample”) based on your selection on the Site. You follow the instructions for harvesting the Sample and ship us the Sample for processing for the Service. We will send you a report featuring your DNA age determination. We share your information to allow us to perform and improve the Service as indicated below. We also may collect general information about you when you access the Site to aid us in improving the Site also as indicated below.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images or documents to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We keep contact form submissions for 1 year in an encrypted archive for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
